Accessibility Statement

The Eco-PoWER Platform is built to be usable by everyone, including rural women entrepreneurs with a wide range of devices, connections and abilities. Accessibility is a core design principle, not an afterthought.

01Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the platform, so that content is perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for all users.

02What we do

Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
Semantic, keyboard-navigable structure with visible focus
Descriptive labels and ARIA roles for interactive elements
Responsive, mobile-first layouts that work on small and low-resolution screens
Clear, plain-language content suitable for non-technical users
Alternative text for meaningful images and decorative images marked as such

03Conformance

We continually review and improve accessibility as the platform evolves. Some third-party or externally linked content (such as the Power Campus MOOC) may not be under our direct control, and we work with partners to keep standards high across the project.
